Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Erin! A book lover, wine editor, and creator of Novel Pairings.
By day, I’m the editor of a national wine magazine. I also hold a WSET Diploma, one of the most rigorous wine certifications in the world. But even with all that, you’ll still find my favorite bottle in the aisles of Trader Joe’s: a $6.49 Grüner Veltliner that’s light, crisp, and pairs perfectly with a paperback.
I started Novel Pairings because I was tired of book clubs that felt like one more obligation. I’ve been to the gatherings where no one clicks, where the book felt like homework, or where you leave wondering why you even bothered. I wanted something better, a space that felt like a treat.
This club is for women like us: mid-career, multitasking, maybe a little maxed out, but still craving meaningful connection and a creative spark. Each month, I personally curate the book and wine pairing—whether it’s cozy, complex, or pure escape—so you don’t have to overthink it.
You don’t need to be a wine expert (or even a fast reader). You just need a little time for yourself.
