Join the virtual book club
Last Sunday or Friday of the month, alternating. Sundays at 5pm PT, Fridays at 6pm PT. 10–20 members on Zoom. Finished the book? Great. Didn't quite get there? Even better! Some of the best moments happen when someone walks in fresh and asks exactly the right question without knowing what's coming.

About the founder
Hi, I’m Erin
I launched Novel Pairings because I believe the best reading experiences happen with a good glass in hand and people who actually want to be there.
My everyday wine is a $6.49 Gruner Veltliner from Trader Joe's. My most-recommended book is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova—the first one my grandfather and I read together.
I'm also Managing Editor of WineBusiness Monthly, hold a DipWSET (basically wine education at the master's level) and teach wine at Napa Valley Wine Academy. I was named to Beverage Dynamics' 40 Under Forty in 2025.
Fifteen years of writing about, teaching, and judging wine goes into every book and bottle we choose together.
