Booked & Bottled at Coursey Graves

$60.00

Some of the best stories start with a leap of faith. This one starts with a book.

On Saturday, November 21st, from 2:00–5:00 PM, Novel Pairings is heading to Coursey Graves Winery for Booked & Bottled, an afternoon of wine, wrapped books, and a little bit of mystery. It's an open house: no reserved seats, no set schedule. Just 50 tickets for the whole afternoon, so stop in anytime during our 3-hour window. 21+.

Taste a flight of Coursey Graves wines and let your favorite pour lead you to a genre: Chardonnay for historical fiction, Sonoma Coast Pinot for romantasy, Syrah for contemporary fiction, '22 Napa Cab for thriller. Or skip the pairing and grab the book you already want. Then build your blind date: choose your wrapped book, add a bookmark, a sticker, tea or cocoa, and take home a wine pairing card so you know exactly what to pour when you unwrap it.

Stay a while after! There's a book swap, food, and genre-matched conversation cards at every table. Come with your book club or come solo; both work.

Hosted at Coursey Graves Winery, a family-run mountaintop estate with a view that stretches almost to the coast. Their membership experience manager, Lexi, is one of our own Book Club and Wine Club members. We met at a Pages & Pours event earlier this year, and this collaboration grew out of that friendship.

What's included

  • A tasting flight at the bar, 4-5 Coursey Graves wines, poured and explained whenever you arrive

  • One full glass to sip while you build

  • A blind date book, wrapped and ready, with its wine pairing card

  • Your pick of bookmarks, stickers, tea, and other trinkets to make it yours

  • Food from Coursey Graves

  • A spot at the book swap, plus games and conversation cards at every table

  • A pretty good view of Sonoma Valley

$60 general admission, $45 for Novel Pairings Book Club and Coursey Graves Wine Club members. Extra blind dates are $25 each. Only 50 tickets.

Outdoor event — dress for a late-November afternoon; if it rains, Coursey Graves has an indoor plan ready.
